Clinicals are quickly coming to an end, I can't believe how quickly this year has gone by. Just one more week in med-surg and then we head into our preceptorship, which I learned today I will be doing in the NOMC PCU. This weekends project is thank-you cards and gifts for all the different wonderful clinical sites and observations we have visited over the past couple of months. They have all been so wonderful, I will have to find something great for all of them! I'll post the pictures as soon as I have them.

Wedding Invite Rough Draft
So I got home a few minutes earlier than expected this afternoon, And.... since this idea has been rattling around in my head for the past few days,
I figured I'd better get it out before it explodes!
The bride and groom image is from Stampendous which is on a wood block. I think I will have to change it to cling and acrylic blocks it before I make the rest of them so I can line them up better! I have never been good at stamping with wood block. I also think I will learn the "fork" trick for tying the bows so they will all be nice and neat. I picked up the little tags at Michaels and they say to love and to cherish, love them!
For those of you who don't know they are for my Sister Samantha's wedding. I will be making invites, thank-you's, announcements, a guest book, and a wedding album so be on the look out for more in this theme! The wedding is fast approaching, so I really need to get busy on these!

My very first blog post
I have never had a blog before, but it seems to be the thing to do nowadays!
So, I have been stamping off and on for a couple of years now. Nothing serious, just a hobby when the mood strikes me. Lately, that mood has come more and more often! So I have decided to start a little blog to keep me motivated and show off some of my creative side. It'll be a little slow going while I finish school but it's a start. First thing I will post will be my sisters wedding invitation, which I have already designed, I just need to find the perfect colored ribbon and some cream colored embossing powder and I will be ready to roll!
